Overview

Intelligent housing is a typical application occasion of integrated Internet and Internet of Things. The Internet of Things, access of control system, the property management information, and housing electric appliances are connected through comprehensive wiring. Users can realize Internet accessing, security, intelligent housing electric appliances control and/or remote control, intelligent interactive control, auto environment control, and overall house entertainment through operating intelligent housing terminals (devices equipped with LCD display and touch-screen; common telephone size). Intelligent Housing Devices Based on MiniGUI/mDolphin

Intelligent housing control terminal devices can be easily built on Linux OS by using FMSoft’s MiniGUI and/or mDolphin. The solution is as shown in Figure 1.

This solution has the following advantages

  • MiniGUI provides the users with C language programming interface. The application developed based on MiniGUI occupies only a little resource and has a good running speed.

  • It contains a full-featured browser,mDolphin. It allows users to access to the Internet seamlessly and obtain the same effect as browse runs on PC.

Hardware platform recommendation

If you want to develop intelligent housing devices by MiniGUI/mDolphin or HybridOS, FMSoft recommends you that the following hardware platforms can be used:

  • Texas Instruments: Davinci series SoC,e.g.: DM365 and DM6446, etc.
  • Hisilicon Semiconductor: Hi3560 and Hi3716 etc.

CCTV Monitoring Device Based on MiniGUI

Besides the common monitoring function, more and more CCTV monitoring devices begin to support graphics user interface. FMSoft’s MiniGUI can provide complete graphics user interface solution for various CCTV monitoring devices.

This solution has the following advantages

  • It can support special display device as YUV device through MiniGUI graphics abstract layer and graphics engine technology. Therefore, it can directly overlap the graphical interface onto video layer to display.
